Sounds like a good place to eat. If I was in the area I would stop in there for a bite.

If you end up in the area, I'll buy you the meal!

Same goes to John and Mark, or any other Setizen in the area...

Maybe I will kidnap the kittyman some weekend and have to take you up on that offer...I could use a long drive...

Sounds like a plan. Although I also could use a long drive. Just not as likely with the current weather conditions. :-)

Happy days are here to stay.. ;-)

ehrm.. well, yes, thats the least we
should believe.

Me winning ;-)

Yeah and from what I'm seeing, It may never include the Disabled like Me, Which have been kicked to the curb or are about to be(maybe). :(

Telling Me to cheer up Here or in a PM won't help Me, Even My backup plan has a nasty 3% snag that I can't resolve. :(

Mmmhh.. no SJ.. I would not tell you to do anything. You are fully allowed to
have your own view ;-)
Just a question; Why do you call yourself Disabled?

Cause I am, Dear Moon, Physically and Mentally.

I am sorry.. but I dont belive you. ;-)
But as long as you do, you will stay in it.
I am very sure that you have a lot of sides
that can not, in any way, be called disabled. As
a start.. you are on here.. posting..writing..
communicating.. even smiling somtimes ;-)
I do not think of you as disabled, even if you have
no legs or arms, or ears, or having any mentally
illness.. If so you are just ill.. and there will
always be something good to find somewhere in you,
about you.. I wish you would focus on that.

;-) ..this is for you;

Can You see the air You breathe?

Of course I'm Permanently Disabled and I also receive SSI/SSP, I use a Cane(that's 11 years old now), I have Disabled License Plates and a Placard(Arthritis, Eye sight, Joint problems in My legs and hips(I'd broken My leg and dislocated My right Hip in 2002, I have 3 titanium Screws in My Left Leg...), concentration, Severe Depression(Not treated either cause of Distance I'm told), thyroid, anxiety, weight, back problems and balance problems, can't stand or walk for long and I couldn't run to save My life as I'd fall(I tried once)).

Do I want to be like everybody else? Yes, Desperately so. But I'm not sure Congress or the American People care, I even read once in a post somewhere that One person thought that SSI/SSDI people get way too much and should have their Meager Checks reduced and I do mean Meager as California is where I was born and where I live and as such California gives Me $233 a month(SSP, SSP is a states matching contribution of SSI that can't be reduced below the Federal Minimum in Californias case of $155 a month), If the state does this and many don't) a month for the moment and the US Government gives Me $674 a month(SSI), SSI comes from the Federal Budget, SSDI comes from the Social Security Trust Fund which I've paid into in the past.

California is where All My Relatives are, Alive and Deceased.

At least I don't weigh a quarter of a ton(never have and I don't intend to either), But then I buy real good food to keep Me from going over 375lbs and yes My diet works(Low Cal, Low Fat, No Sugar(or low), Low Starch), Since Jan 1st 2009 I've lost 11lbs and I'm down to 366.4lbs so far. I had weighed as much as 405lbs at one time, My diet has helped Me.

You wouldn't believe or maybe You would, I can live off SSI, But If something needs repair or replacement and It costs more than $2,000 then I'm out of luck as SSI Recipients are not supposed to have more than $2,000 or their Benefits go away until this is fixed and in the meantime SSA will want back the current benefit and next months benefit or $1,814 in My case(there goes the $2000 into the SSA Tax Trap), Technically I can finance something like that, Like a Car or whatever, But that requires an income higher than $1,500 a month and I'm currently getting only $907 a month tax free(Federal or State).

Oh and the reason It looks like I type better than most is cause I have a spell checker added into FireFox 3.05. I'm surprised others don't use one, As I find lots of misspellings in replies here and there.

I also have a fear of drowning and I've had that since at least 1978 when I was briefly in the US Navy(I have an Honorable Discharge too). The policy had just been introduced and I almost slipped through the cracks, So since I couldn't swim and couldn't be taught I was discharged from the Navy.

In any case, Nope not this time. But then I'm old enough just like a few others to have watched two guys land on that there Moon and plant the Flag in the Mare of Tranquility(Apollo 11, The Eagle was the LEM).

I have no fear of drowning. If you have read some of whats written
on my web-site, you would know why.....

What I Do fear is to lose my smile.. If its gone for more than a day (dont happen often though) ..then I feel it as the most important task to find
it again.

btw-- what has age got to do with it..? ;-))

I'm surprised others don't use one, As I find lots of misspellings in replies here and there.

;-) aye.. I misspell alot i guess.. But I am not too conserned about it. I do my best, and that is good enough. For me. ;-)
I am not going to tell you, or anyone in here what my income is, or how much I have left after paying my bills.. ;-) but I can tell that I can not afford any car..or lot of other things.. But it is more of a priority.. I could of course get rid of my computer, stop paying internet connection, stop buying chocolate..mmmhhh... stop travelling Anywhere.. stop buying any new clothes for a couple of years.. im sure i would have managed anyhow.. And then maybe I could afford a car.. maybe ;-)
Yes.. lot of things can be difficult.. we have different challenges in life.. some so, and others so.. Still we ought to find a way to live with it..and still See the good things.. At least that is what I think.. And I think freely.. what ever you say.. ;-)))
Oh...i forgot to tell.. I am very Rich. ..that has nothing to do with money..

And now I win ;-)

I also have a fear of drowning and I've had that since at least 1978 when I was briefly in the US Navy(I have an Honorable Discharge too). The policy had just been introduced and I almost slipped through the cracks, So since I couldn't swim and couldn't be taught I was discharged from the Navy.

In any case, Nope not this time. But then I'm old enough just like a few others to have watched two guys land on that there Moon and plant the Flag in the Mare of Tranquility(Apollo 11, The Eagle was the LEM).

;-) ok...

I have no fear of drowning. If you have read some of whats written
on my web-site, you would know why.....

What I Do fear is to lose my smile.. If its gone for more than a day (don't happen often though) ..then I feel it as the most important task to find
it again.

btw-- what has age got to do with it..? ;-))

There were no VCRs for TVs in the home back in 1969, So either You're old enough to remember or You have a copy of the National Geographic from around then or something else, as the TV transmission was LIVE back then(for that at least).

Posting after returning from Math lab. (I've actually been home for a couple hours, I just now got back to the computer.)

Hmmm. I've heard it can take a while to come down from a Math-rush. :-)
