Down under, What an appropriate title, I'm down, But not under...

Why? Cause of the USDA saying they don't do direct loans to houses that need some repairs and yet the documentation that the USDA sent to Me(Rural Home "502 direct mortgage" Program) says that the USDA does in fact do this, I was asked "Are You sure You want to do this? As You are only approved up to $52,000.00 as the $25 credit report is not refundable", It sounds like their trying to say to Me "Go away, We don't want Your money cause You're getting SSI and are poor", Sounds like housing discrimination to Me, One of the other people there is looking into this matter as It's a serious charge.

I guess You could say I'm not happy. :(

Thanks DrC, I'm currently awaiting a promised call back on this. The 502 Direct Mortgage application(Yellow front page) says on page 2 line G "and in good repair or be placed in good repair with loan funds." This was what's at the heart of the matter, The officer there said the Direct mortgage doesn't do this and yet there It is in black and white in print.. Needless to say I was not happy that this specialist actually wanted Me to go away, It was like He was saying there's nothing out there for You that You can afford and anything that You can afford needs some work/repairs and We don't want to be bothered, Now go away. And that just pissed Me off.

No, not really. Although the Internet connections has, for the most part, been stable, the TV part is still wonky. Just can't believe how much like Jokers Verizon Time Warner is being...

My TV is via Dish Network($59.99 a month for 200 channels), Verizon is the Phone Co and My DSL ISP. I haven't had an account with Time Warner for nearly 2 years of course.

Well, personally speaking, my internet comes courtesy of an Ethernet cable from my neighbours connection and I haven’t watched commercial TV since the terror-porn of 9:11.

So, doing the math, zero times zero is, yeah, zero is what I pay.

:)

I wasn't implying you had Joker. Just commenting on the difficulties you recently had with Verizon and comparing to those I've been having with TW.
