I was trying to find a link to the hot sauce I used; however, there seems to be no link available...

It is Chaloua brand hot sauce; and, is hotter than McIlhenny's Tabasco. I put 20 good sized drops into my chicken noodle soup. MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmm GOOD!!! 8-D

Wow. That sounds like a lot of hot sauce for some soup. I also like hot sauce in my chicken soup, but no where near that much. Then again with Desert Creatures Snake's Bite Habanero hot sauce, it only takes about 5 drops to clear the sinuses...

Yes, actually have a bottle of the Habanero in the house as well. Anything "Tabasco" brand is passe. That's for Bloody Mary's. :-)

The different brands, like the Snake's Bite, add special flavors that complement different foods well.

I don't use any hot sauces that use sugar or other sweeteners.

It really was a lot of hot sauce for the soup, but that's the way I like it. The 20 drops turned the broth orange; that's how much hot sauce there was... I really like spicy stuff.

[EDIT] I'll have to try that Snake's Bite sauce. It sounds awesome.

Hmmm, lets see:

Water, Habanero Pepper, Vinegar, Carrots, Salt, Xanthian Gum, Garlic and spices.

So, the Carrots would be the only provider of any potential sweetener.

Little bit different than the Hot Spell Sea Witch Festival

Which includes:

Tabasco peppers, Habanero Peppers, Lemon Juice, vinegar, green chili peppers, black pepper, salt and Xanthan Gum.

Both are good, just for their own purposes...
