Thank you Uli..... The fixed winning post number will be related indirectly /directly to a mathematical constant.

As always - play fair! And Happy Winning in 2009! :)

Just a side announcement... The "FreeRice (II) New Year's Donation Challenge" starts on the 5 January 2009 @ 12:00 AM New Zealand Daylight Time (+1300UTC). I hope to see you all there!
- Luke.

I am bad in math, but maybe a fixed number.

Pluto will always be a planet to me.

Congrats Luke...

O BTW what's a mathematical constant?

Thank you both Magenta & Monday.

For example (will not be used): Pi = 3.1415926535897932384... so the post winner could be 3141 (too high) or 1220 when Fibonacci calculated Pi to be 3.141818.

Hope that helps :)
- Luke.

Congrats Luke.

Now, let’s see. Mathematical constants. Well, there is the obvious one: Pi. Mulpiplyed by 100 would give post number 314.

Or Napiers: 2.718

My personal fave: the golden ration: 1.618

One of Brun’s constants. . .but no, this isn’t PrimeGrid.

Hmmm, might take a separate BOINC project to fathom this one.
