If this is you, then please use this thread. That means the near-silent majority who want to know about the science, platforms, project status, client or server bugs, compiling the client, asking for help etc. don't have to wade through pages of rubbish about credits to transact our business here.

Thanks in advance :)

Low...

Nice thread, I would like to know
about AstroPulse, if you have any
info. I know the Alpha and Beta sites
are up (barely), but up. I am an amatuer
astronomer now living and working in China.
Astronomy, Cosmology, can not get enough of
it...really interested in Black Holes, so am
anxious for the (return?) of AstroPulse. If
you or anyone else posting/reading this thread
have any info, it would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Joe

I'm very interested in astropulse too, apparently they have had a change of personnel and that has stalled things a bit.

I would be pleased if the time line will be updated soon, so that I could see when SETI@hopme for the southern hemisphere will start.

As far as I've gathered, AstroPulse is going to be a part of sah - in the sence that sah is going to send out a mixture of sah and ap wu's. But that is just what I've read on these messageboards.

I wanted to hook up with ap myself when I first started with boinc, but all links to that project I could find were dead...

elite? hmm. I thought the elite was there all the time telling us that stupidity is not to care as much about credits as hey do themselves... Oh well, you learn something each day...
