Matthew, there is another storm hitting NM today and tonight that will probably get to you just in time to ruin your weekend.

Just as long as it it isn't on I40 this weekend.

Most of it is supposed to go north of I40, but you'd better check the weather along your route. You may get stranded in ABQ for a day or two before making your way on up north.

At least all the roadwork is finished between Edgewood and ABQ now.

And give me a wave to the north as you pass between the Sedillo Hill and Zuzax exits. ;)

I don't quite get to ABQ. We depart the interstate at Clines Corners.

Yes, I am keeping track of the weather, my wife calls it obsessing.

It's not obsessing with the kind of weather we get out here.

. . . the drought in NC obviously effected some crops

If that's the entire crop, 9 carrots! Carrots are going to go up, Hopefully not of course. :D

Me I got a surgical referral today in Barstow, My prescription has finally been approved after waiting since Friday, Lets see I have to send $25.00 to the USDARH(US Department of Agriculture: Rural Homes or Housing?) for a credit report on Me and a print out from homebycountrywide.com(homeownership education as required by the USDARH, I got 99 out of 100 right and so I passed) and the USDARH is sending a form or two of which I can send in with the $25 money order, the USDARH is ordering an appraisal of 3 addresses that I'm interested in getting a mortgage on as I'm qualified for one up to $52,000.00 and They'll see If any repairs are needed and the appraised value If It's lower than the $52,000.00 will be either the repair funds or the mortgage minus any fees and such, So I'm moving right along. :D

Oh and the rain has turned into SNOW!!! Crap, Well I'm not going anywhere now.

Yes, and it is amazing what a couple thousand feet altitude will do to the weather.

You're heading up by Chama aren't you? Chama could get up to 15 inches of snow thru Thursday night.

On top of the foot they got the other day. ;)

First, my ETA is a bit later than Thursday, and second, not quite that far north - closer to Santa Fe.

Visibility variable down to < 100 m in snow (thank Dog for radar.)
