We just had an Earthquake out here and It was centered in
Ludlow, CA 23 miles / 37 km (from Yermo CA) @ 8:18 PM PST on 12-05-2008.

The quake struck here at 8:20pm PST.

I'm alright and so is Angel as the quake is/was 23 miles from Me, Wow. And nothing seems amiss around here, The PC rack and the aquarium shook a bit and I braced It.

Edit: The quake was a 5.1 magnitude quake.

Winning after Cable tech(s!) came out and decided my situation was really sucky!

I will now have a cable feed from "pilon" to house that runs on top of the snow all winter. (Needed to be replaced.) And the signal strength at the pilon is still too low. And that pilon was misconfigured. With a wrong "jumper configuration" in the first place, and an amazingly, low signal above that. Sigh. Sometimes you just have to wonder. "It works fine unless it snows!" Not once they had at it. :-)

I just found out about the change, As at 8:20 It was listed at 5.5 and not at 5.1 of course.

Same here, I lived through the one back in the early 70's before they tore down the van norman reservoir. And lots since as I lived in Los Angeles county for most of My life.

Anyone else starting to feel the panic yet?
