No matter who is elected:

The Status Quo is Dead! Long live the Status Quo!

Be sure to write-in "MISFIT" when you vote for President.

You are a qualified candidate? Impressed!

He needs to be vetted.

I heard from somebody who knows somebody who said he heard that Misfit pals around with a driver who changes lanes without using turn signals.

Misfit is reckless!

He gets blaimed for a lot of things, too.

I am a natural born citizen over the age of 35. I'm a registered voter. I'm also known for driving with a leadfoot. I keep the traffic flowing quickly and that is what we all need! A vote for me keeps granny out of the fastlane.

Don't presidents get blamed of a lot of things also?!

With Misfit as your president, the US of A would be a much funnier place to live. Specially when he's on a sugar rush...

Welcome to Obamaland. The country created by a liberal biased mainstream media. It is now proven that a small group of people, utilizing the power of the media, can put anyone they desire into the White House. King Obama with his astonishing ties to terrorists and a Marxist belief never once was challenged by the liberal mainstream media. There is one remaining question. When will Obamaland becomes the United Socialist Republic of America? The coronation happens in January and then the transformation begins. God help us.

The liberal bias you speak of in media is a falsehood. The media is controlled by the right...they are the ones with the money.

The astonishing links to terrorists are not Obama's...the only real links are those between the Bush family and the Bin Laden family.

There is no challenging a man's Marxist beliefs when those beliefs are nonexistant.

You seem bitter after this election...just as bitter as I felt when we returned a bunch of Northern Republicans to office here in Canada.

I got over it and so can you.

Congratulations America for electing a very intelligent president for a change.
Maybe the bitterness will be overcome by national pride in the near future.

This guy speaks a very very biased truth as his predudice eyes think he sees it.

The news media is biased heavily to the Republicans not the Democrats.

Clearly he is the only one in the US that was right in his vote, and even God can be wrong but not him.

Does he really think that a Senator with proven ties with terrorists and Marxists (beliefs or otherwise) would get the Party nomination, let alone the ticket?

Come on and volunteer to be sectioned and go to the Asylum. Bush is there waiting for you!

I have now seen the numbers of Obama's victory (I didn't had the time for it this morning before I had to leave for work), and it seems that he now has the power as the democrats also won the majority of the Senate and the House. So in fact Obama now is in power. So let's see how he handles that power and what he will do with it.

People here in my part of the world are happy for the results, but it's my impression, that many people in Europe have high expectations for Obama, as well as they have had for the previous democratic president candidates. So we will see what he actually will do with the foreign politics including the allies in Nato here in Europe.

It is a historical moment in American politics to have an African-American person as your president, and I think a lot of people have gone with the rush of that sense of the presence of history, and that many have projected a lot on Obama because of that. So good luck to him and let's hope he won't let a lot of people down, when they find out that he might or might not have the qualities people have projected on him. There is always the danger of projecting, when people put a person up on a pedestal, that they want to knock him of it, if he disappoints them.

Now, let Obama get into office and hopefully do a good job.

Agreed. The Europeans are really longing for someone who will lie to their faces and tell them how he feels their pain. They will then sorta support that person for a while and they will feel good about how much he cares--even when, of course, he does not, and will proceed to do exactly what he would have done, no matter what the whiners in Trafalgar Square think.

Ok, I took my pills and I feel better now. I am willing to wait and see on King Obama's reign.

I heard a women on the radio yesterday and I paraphrase here. "I have waited all my life for this. Now I won't have to worry about buying gas for my car or make house payments. Obama said that if I help him then he will help me."

King Obama is an elequent speaker who has promised many things to the poor people in this country in exchange for their support. What will all these people do when they finally realize that the King cannot deliver on any of his promises to them. What then?

When?? 6 months? 1 year??

I will give Obama the benefit of the doubt.......
I don't see how he will deliver on his promises of tax relief for the lesser off of us with the budget and economy in the shambles it is at present......

But the people have made their choice, and now we must give him the support he deserves and allow him to try to implement the changes he has been promising....

And no matter what, it won't happen overnight.....we are in too big of a hole right now to jump out of it in an instant.

I sincerely hope the naysayers are wrong this time, and he can turn things around.

We shall see.

I am seriously worried. A friend called me this morning and told me he was going to try and get some sleep while the sun shines. Seems for most of last night people in his neighborhood were honking their car horns and shouting in celebration of the vote. What is going to happen when they realize this isn't the second coming?

Why are some of you going over the top with this?
The election was about removing liars and thieves from power.
The republicans had caved in to the corporate lobbyists and created a country where the very legislation brought forward in the house was written by the corporatists.

Obama's campaign has been about looking after the interests of the people.

He isn't the Christ
He isn't the anti-Christ

He's a man that saw the direction the U.S. was heading and chose to try and change it.
It seems that a few Americans agreed with his vision and gave their trust to him.

Dispite the hand wringing republican warnings of Marxism, communism, socialism, elitism and just plain old "You didn't vote for us so you're screwedism" there's nothing in his platform that suggests anything but the same concerns held by any street level community worker.

The elites have been pampered at the expense of the working class and the poor.
Maybe there's another way, a more fair way, to run a nation.

You don't need to fear fairness.

As seen so many times before in history, the presidents, once elected, have digressed very far away from what they were elected on. Just as we see here with our own elected politicians.

People here in my part of the world are happy for the results, but it's my impression, that many people in Europe have high expectations for Obama, as well as they have had for the previous democratic president candidates. Yes, people here eat it all raw. And you are right, I don't think Obama is that concerned about the allies over here, and I think people here soon will find out. About the whiners in Trafalgar Square, I don't know, I don't know them, Trafalgar Square is far away from where I live. Of course we know admiral Nelson, but that's another story. ::shudder of thinking of what he did to Copenhagen and the Danish fleet::

But of course we are ecstatic when they pay us a visit. I remember when Clinton visited Denmark and was greeted by the queen and her family, it was televised live, every minute from before he landed till his plane took off. And of course I watched it all, every minute of it. ;-) (They don't come here that often! It's always interesting to see foreign heads of states' reactions on the royal palace and the speech from the queen. She is quite witty some times in her speeches. Clinton was actually quite witty himself in his response to her speech to him!)
