It would seem that I have more concern for the well being of working people in the U.S. than you.

Sorry you are so very upset that the dream team of McCain/Palin is going down in flames. NOT

PS: Thanks for being such a strong advocate for my freedom of speech.

I refer you to your first "Big Friggin Whoop" post at the top of this string.

You think I don't know how sad you are right now, poor chap?

I forgive your anger.

[quote]My motivations are quite obvious aren't they?

I seek a world where citizens are treated with respect, where they are entitled to decent pension plans and universal single-payer healthcare.

But the only way that happens is when you stick a gun in people's faces and make them do what they otherwise would not do.

there are other ways, like people obeying the law

If it is OK for you to do that to them, then it is OK for them to do it to you. And they do. That's why you get massive wars and the Dept. of Defense. That's why Canada has to lobby the U.S. gov't HARD not to allow re-importation of prescription drugs.

why usa need to buy medicine from canada, is their health care too costly
and ineffective

USA PAYS DOUBLE FOR HEALTHCARE AND IS LAST ON QUALITY

read and weep

With the ability to form and join unions to promote a stronger working class.

You want this freedom, yet you want to use gov't force to make other people accept your decisions. That's inconsistent and it's hypocrisy.

no it is not even if you seez blah blah

Free education. Progressive taxation to spread the wealth.

Sure. Just tax everyone 100%. Why not? I mean, if it's such a good idea, why don't we? Hell, why doesn't the gov't just print money and hand it out? I mean, there are no costs, right? Things are just good because Bob proclaimed them as good, right? Doesn't that makes sense, everyone?

progressive taxation is the basis for democratic, peaceful society where
every citizen has same rights as they should have everywhere, and it has been carried out with success in many parts of europe

I seek a world where corporations are regulated by a strong social democratic government accountable to the citizens.

Heh heh. Good luck with that.

you will see that too

I'll be very happy with just these things.

I would suggest not holding your breath.

Don't read newspapers, The web has lots more current info and headlines are on TV, So why? As Newspapers aren't Green, Especially If You're a Tree or anything that lives in them.

Might I suggest that you take advantage of that opportunity BEFORE you post... ;)

Congrats to PAUL KRUGMAN for his Nobel Prize. I always like reading his Opinion pieces on the Times website.
