I brought the cake home 1st though as It was about 104F outside today(Angel didn't like this of course, She's a Cat after all), Next I went to FORD to get the tires reinflated/checked for air pressure(35psi), Then I went to RiteAid(I bought some Ammens medicated Powder and a large bottle of Tums at RiteAid(Pharmacy)), and what was left of the cash after RiteAid was deposited in the Checking account in the Bank by Me today before I came home to feed Angel Her Tuna.

Thanks TL4, Gary and Kasey, etc. It doesn't taste bad either, I had the 1st piece(Actually Jaime had the 1st, I had the 2nd piece) at iHop after Lunch and the View of the area that the Barstow CA iHOP has is fantastic, You can even see the Barstow areas 1.5MW Wind Turbine over on the local Marine Corp Base, there are two other smaller Wind Turbines on private property nearby that are owned by some homeowners and there is one similar to those two small Wind Turbines in Yermo CA down the Street from where I live, So there's plenty of wind to be taken advantage of nearby. One mobile home park at one time outside of Barstow had a photovoltaic solar array(It's not the park I live in so I have no idea as to what happened to the solar panels), But the solar panels were removed, As to why I have no idea, maybe the owners of the park there changed and the new owners didn't like the panels, of course the supports are still in place, But no solar panels. :(

The cake is a white type of cake and the frosting is just the way I like It, Not sickly sweet.

Ferdinand, Graf von Zeppelin (1838)

In 1891, at the age of 52, Count von Zeppelin retired from the Prussian army to devote himself to building motor-driven airships. He invented the first rigid airship in 1900, but the prototype was eventually disassembled and sold for scrap. Public opinion was so strongly in favor of the project, however, that the second version of his airship was financed largely through donations and a lottery.

Gertrude Bell (1868)

Bell was a British traveler, author, government official, and one of the builders of the modern state of Iraq. Her knowledge of the Middle East earned her an appointment to the British intelligence services during World War I, and she was largely responsible for the selection of Faisal I as king of Iraq, eventually gaining the nickname the "Uncrowned Queen of Iraq" for her role in shaping the monarchy

Vince Guaraldi (1928)

American jazz musician Vince Guaraldi was hired to score the animated adaptations of the Peanuts comic series after a producer heard his music playing on a taxicab's radio. Though he was a Grammy award-winning pianist prior to his work on the Peanuts specials, Guaraldi is best known for his musical compositions associated with the series, including the signature tune "Linus and Lucy" from A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Raymond Chandler (1888)

Chandler was an American novelist whose writings in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s had an immense impact on the crime thriller genre as well as film noir. His well-plotted and brutally realistic novels, including The Big Sleep, feature Philip Marlowe, a hard-boiled yet honorable private detective who became the prototype for the tough-guy private eye of many subsequent American detective novels.

Jerry Garcia (1942)

Garcia was the lead guitarist and vocalist of the psychedelic rock band the Grateful Dead. From 1965 to 1995, the group toured almost constantly, developing an intensely devoted fan base known as "Deadheads." Closely involved with the San Francisco hippie movement and the use of drugs such as LSD, Garcia became heavily addicted to cocaine and heroin in the 1980s. He struggled to overcome his addictions and was at a drug rehabilitation center when he died suddenly in 1995

Alexander Fleming (1881)

Motivated by the devastating infection he saw in battlefield hospitals during World War I, Fleming, a Scottish bacteriologist, set about searching for an effective antiseptic. In 1922, he discovered lysozyme, an antibacterial enzyme present in saliva, nasal secretions, and tears. In 1928, he isolated the antibiotic substance penicillin, a finding that earned him a Nobel Prize and has forever changed modern medicine.

Emiliano Zapata (1879)

During the Mexican Revolution, Zapata led the Liberation Army of the South, whose slogan, "Land and Liberty," represented its goal of repossessing the indigenous Mexican lands taken by the Spanish. Though Zapata's family lived comfortably on their own land, he was a born leader who keenly felt the injustices suffered by his people. Zapata's soldiers, mainly peasants recruited from plantations and villages, occupied Mexico City three times between 1914 and 1915.

Wim Wenders (1945)

Wenders is a German filmmaker who earned international acclaim for his documentary Buena Vista Social Club, featuring elderly Cuban musicians. He first attracted attention with The Goalie's Anxiety at the Penalty Kick, a film whose themes of alienation and rootlessness are echoed in his other works. Paris, Texas was his first truly successful feature and earned him the Palme d'Or at the 1984 Cannes Film Festival.

Davy Crockett (1786)

Crockett was a celebrated 19th-century American folk hero, frontiersman, soldier, and politician. After serving in the War of 1812, Crockett was elected to the Tennessee legislature and later won three terms in the US House of Representatives. Though his dress, language, and backwoods wit gained him popularity, he failed to win reelection in 1835 and left for Texas, where he died at the age of 49 in the Battle of the Alamo

Joe Strummer (1952)

Strummer was the lead singer and guitarist, as well as the principle songwriter for The Clash, a British rock band. The Clash was instrumental in ushering in the age of punk rock music in the late 1970s and was the most musically diverse and overtly political of the original English punk bands. Strummer supported the Rock Against Racism campaign. He was also known for his devotion to his fans, often signing autographs for hours after performances.
