Hello! I just created an account =) I got questions about participating in few projs:

If i set resource 95% to seti and 5% to LHC this means when the applications switch (every 60 mins?!) it will do the SETI for 19 times * 60 minutes to 1 times * 60 minutes LHC?? Becouse last time i was participating Predictor and set it to 5% it was doing 1 hr SETI/ 1 hr Predictor no matter how much share i set to those projects...

I have mine set at 25% LHC and 75% seti. When using version 4.09, I get 1 full hour of LHC and 3 hours of seti. I set the switch time to 30 minutes and it still did 1 hour LHC and 3 hours of seti. For my computer the LHC wu takes about 2 hours total.

Saimek, you should probably upgrade your BOINC core to 4.09, unless you've already tried and had problems.

With 4.05 it works the same way, it breaks time into chunks of at least 1 hour. Because of the return times, I'd suggest that you leave SETI at 100 share and put LHC at about a 10 share.

SETI will get 100/110 = ~90.91% of the time
LHC will get 10/110 = ~ 9.09% of the time.

You would do 10 hours of SETI followed by 1 hour of LHC.

Good luck!

The code to handle this is not in 4.09, but will be released in some future version.
