This just in....

For the second year in a row, the polar cap is melting and the Northwest Passage is entirely free.[b]

According to a recent article by The Guardian (UK):

The most important of these computer studies of ice cover was carried out a few months ago by Professor Wieslaw Maslowski of the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. Using US Navy supercomputers, his team produced a forecast which indicated that [b]by 2013
there will be no ice in the Arctic - other than a few outcrops on islands near Greenland and Canada - between mid-July and mid-September.

(Hmmmn...I wonder if these last two stories are related) LOL

May and Walsh lost their first match today (and AVP championship) in Ohio against the #2 USA Olympic team. So their winning streak record comes to an end. It was an exciting match for those lucky enough to catch it on NBC.

Awww! They were just tired out after the Olympics. Besides, all winning streaks come to an end, that's within the definition of a streak. ;]

Aren't those two something, though? They're a pair of Superheroes: they even look like Superheroes!

Hi Mike!!! :]]

It's really, really good to see you here! I wish I had been to this restaurant, but I never have been, unfortunately. It looks like a very pleasant place to eat outdoors.

I got the photo from Al, and he has been there. :]]

I've had many, many, delicious Wienershnitzels in Vienna, and I really miss them, too.
