They're pre-selling these condominiums they're going to put up in the heart of downtown. You buy in now at hopefully 10% below market value and if you don't like it when it's completed two years from now, you can hopefully 'flip' it for at least the higher prices they'll be selling the units at then. I had to really smile when I saw how they've imported all the big-city hype into this project. See the cruise ship in the background? By suggestion, you're getting a piece of that Good Life too. LOL They've got the whole shebang: the glitzy furniture in the showrooms, the subliminal art in that photo (they're targetting young professionals families and retired Boomers like me). And just as if this were New York City, the fancy condos ($190,000 - $320,000) are postage sized, I mean really small. Will it sell? Like Gangbusters, probably. You see, this little burgh doesn't know anything about condominiums; this is the first one in town. :]] Now if only I could figure out how to pay 24 months of more maintenance fees.
