Why?

Why do we search?
Why do we listen?
Why?

Do we think for one moment that if found they would help us, if that was the case think again; if they have been coming here for thousands of years why did they not contact us “us the common people” ask this question.

Help us from what? The wrong doing of this world. Well wake up planet earth, it is you that must help your selves be for they will help us all. They shall remain hidden for now but be sure of one thing, we are running out of time and they will pass us by.

We are always looking for someone else to get us out of trouble. We are so willing to hand over to the wealthy what ever they need when the solution lies in your fellow man. This world is evolving into a paper world where you mean nothing unless you have a peace of paper. The worth of a man today is his paper not the man, the person.

Solutions are out there but we criticize them but not try them to prove them to our selves. Water for gas, oh it can’t work. Have you tried it? No! But you are so willing to put it down. A pill to add to your gas to reduce emissions and increase mileage, have you tried it? No. Fresh water from the sea, have you tried it? No! All these wonders that has been set in front of you some true some false.

I have tried and failed. But I have tried.

I have tried and succeeded. I have tried and learned.

We should be working as a part of life not working to live. Is this not what we are trying to fix in developing countries where people are working to live. Weather it’s scrounging for food or a job that pays little to nothing they are never the less working to live and at the same time the wealthy of that area do very little to nothing to help.

The business of giving is just that in today’s world “Business”

I could go on and on about the human race but I feel it is pointless.

I have some serious comment to add and will most assuredly do so when I have the time.
This thread deserves to live as a serious discussion on the many problems facing humanity and not deteriorate into mere frivolity and humour.

Here's what I think the real deal is:

I suspect Earth is the ghetto of the galaxy. No sane being willingly comes here because it's pointless and just too damn dangerous, and most of the galactic population simply pretends we don't exist. To acknowledge us is just too painful emotionally because they know there's absolutely nothing they can do to help us. When children announce that they want to be social workers, they're no doubt shown unedited records of what goes on here. This probably brings virtually all these well-meaning but abysmally naive children to their senses within minutes.

The galaxy at large probably feels there's a 0.1 percent chance we'll be able to help ourselves, but that most likely we'll be gone shortly, to everyone's great relief, including our own. Under no circumstances will we be allowed to leave our own solar system.

I hope I'm wrong about all this. One can always hope, after all.

Many times I have thought that perhaps we have already been observed and assessed and unbeknown to us we have had an embargo slapped on us.
We have been isolated and ostricised by the 1.7 Million members of the Milky Way Galactic Community. The Solar system is a No-Go area.

We are the neighbourhood Wife-Beater. The Town Drunk. The Village Idiot etc.

I doubt if there is another planet in the Galaxy on which the major industry is the R&D, Manufacture, Sale, Distribution and Maintenace of weapons specifically designed to kill our own race.

I can't remember where I read it but someone once said "If it wasn't for religion we would have put a man on the moon 300 years ago and would now be established on Mars"

Think about this.....

ALL of our problems boil down to one root cause...overpopulation.

Too many starving people.
There isn't a shortage of food. There is a surplus of mouths to feed.

Too many unemployed people.
There isn't a shortage of jobs. There are too many unemployable people because there are...
Too many uneducated and unskilled people.

Too many homeless.
There isn't a shortage of homes. There is a surplus of people who can't afford homes.

and in turn our overpopulation problem comes down to religion because God says; according to his local office rep's here on earth; that it is our duty to procreate.

But don't forget that it was our all knowing religious leaders who put Copernicus to death for heresey and put Gallilleo under house arrest for agreeing with Copernicus.
Even now when we all know that Copernicus was dead right and the Church was wrong, they have never apologised or issued a full pardon to Copernicus.

How dumb are we for following men in dresses and funny hats who believe in an afterlife in a place called heaven.
