. . . mi fav used to be (when i drank alcohol a long time ago) was MONET Cognac -

certain Establishments 'still have' those bottles waiting for mi IF i ever wanted to indulge . . . and it's FREE to mi ;))

< this is something 'similar' to that which i refer to . . .

Dubbed as the DNA of Cognac, Henri IV Dudognon Heritage is presented in an exquisite bottle.

Produced since 1776 it is aged in barrels for more than 100 years. Exorbitantly priced at 1 Million Pounds Sterling, the liquor is bottled in a bottle dipped in 24 K Yellow Gold & Sterling Platinum and decorated with 6,500 certified brilliant cut diamonds. With an approximate weight of 8 Kilograms, it is filled with 100 cl. of Dudognon Heritage Cognac Grande Champagne that contains an alcohol content of 41%.

This jewelled packing was master crafted by the well known jeweller Jose Davalos

. . . i shall now proceed to watCh some NEWS w/ the Lady J . . . nyt . . .

Two of our favorites.

Friexenet Semi-Seco (Spanish sparkling white).

Conch y Torro.

I had one friend in college that liked MD 20-20 and Ripple. He also liked a concoction that he called an air hammer. Quick description - start with the recipe for a screwdriver, now reverse the proportions and serve the same amount.

Love the reds - CA Zinfandel is my all time fav but a a good cab works anyday.
A. Rafanelli - IMHO makes some of the best CA Zinfandels - It is my benchmark that I measure
all other Zins with. (Hanna is a close second)

example Rafanelli label:

I prefer red wine to white, but the other day I shared a bottle of white Pinot Grigio Trentino. I was really nice.

41% is strong for a wine Richard. Probably too strong for me. But then I can't handle anything strong. Apparently ;)
