I'm good, though it is hard to have a bad day when you know that you have a nice 10 days off ahead of you :)

Correction, now I am quite irritated.

I have been working on a particular part of my website for about a week now. It consists of about five files all linked together and is programmed in PHP. I finished all the files and went to test the site and found that nothing worked! I read over all the code hundreds of times, but I could not find the problem. Finally I found that a particular line I had put a " instead of a '. I fixed this problem and expected the site to work but when I tested the site it did the same thing as it did before. After a couple hundred more times of reading over the code I found that I forgot a connotation operator so I fixed that and the darn thing still doesn't work! I am at the point that I am ready to throw this darn computer against a wall.

You know that you will eventually conquer this problem...but in the here and now it can be difficult to fight these blockers and not be frustrated...Take a break...chill for awhile...and come back to it when you are a bit more relaxed...Maybe then you can get the darn thing to work.

I got it to work, well sorta anyway. I found that I forgot a ; and when I fixed this I got about 7% of it to work. It's progress at least. Now I shall take a brak like you suggested.

May I suggest you post your vexations to the NC thread? They seem to have some better nuggets of technical wisdom to offer there..........

Somehow i don't think the numbers crunchers could help him much with his PHP problem...But they might try to rescue his computer before he destroys it in frustration.

Thanks, but I wasn't looking for technical advice. I was simply expressing my frustrations.
