NEZ Does not add new crunchers to his arsenal.

Assumption 1:-
The PC with the fastest RAC from Boincstats is selected, and that's an Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X7350 @ 2.93GHz with 16 cores, and a current RAC of 23248

Assumption 2:-
NEZ current average credit per day is 927146 on Boincstats and stays that way; a natural consequence of the Prime Assumption.


So by dividing NEZ's RAC with fastest com RAC, we get 39.88~40 fastest PCs required to acheive NEZ's RAC. But remember, starting later than NEZ, you can never surpass his total credit as you're only going as fast as he is.

Ergo, one would need to establish a farm of at LEAST 82-100 Intel X7350s with similar specs and clocks to the fastest RAC PC to have a chance of surpassing NEZ.

By my calculations, you will equal and then surpass his credit amount in 198 days.

Or you could get a mac. Er well 100 of them. The power macs seem to have a RAC of about 10K each. So 100 of them would give you a RAC of 1 million. NEZ is only at 780K. Not sure how long that would take, but it would only cost about $500,000 to do. Simple too, no OC'ing, just take them out of the box, plug them in, load up Bonic and Simon's app, your done. Of course you would have to worry about the fall out. If they were 24/7 crunchers, I could imagine the top 100 computers all being owned by 1 person.
