Was just dropping in for a visit to the local shelter, 14 cats they had. And this one, just stared at me and he's like "Your mine, take me home". So I couldn't resist. Give a big round of applause to Orlando (aka Ollie...) The shelter staff described him as very relaxed and doesn't mind being around other cats... When I got home... I've got great news to report and I can't wait to share it with you! The opthamologist's findings are that the treatment is working!!! I do not have a flesh-eating virus or even a fungus. It's just a nasty but ordinary bacterium. There is no damage to the rear of my eye (where the optic nerve is located) and the chances are now very high that I will not go blind from this. HOORAH!!! I feel very relieved, I can tell you that now; eye trouble is a scary business. :]] Thanks to all of you for your emails and PMs of support! How very nice it is to have such good friends!!!
