I went to my favorite Italian restaurant, they have a girl that plays real nice classical piano on Friday nights. I had my favorite dish, "Gamberoni Diabolo", that's shrimp and sea scallops with bits of roasted garlic, tomatoes and onion in a cream sauce, your choice of pasta. I chose penne rigoni, those small tubes with the grooves along their length. I took Dad there once; he doesn't care for Italian food but he said he enjoyed it. I kind of reminisced about our dinner there together that night. It was a quiet evening, but a pleasant one. Well, the weekend's finally here! I hope all of you have a real nice one. :]] GOD BLESS!!! Beets Sounds like a wonderful evening.....hope the atmosphere was as enjoyable as that rigoni sounds like it was.....yummy....Italian is my fav too......right up there with a good slab of steak.... Well, I got my shopping done, but get this: you can't buy anchovies in my little burgh for love or money! I had to buy some anchovy paste (for my Caesar's salad). AAARGH! This town is getting more provincial every day! But anyways, I had a great big salad for a snack when I got home.
