Winning with a rebuttal:

Marines win thats a joke. I'm Retired Navy. It took us in the Navy just to get you oversea's to lose... Nam that is...

Please remember the primary mission for which the Marine Corps was founded; Protecting the ships of the US Navy. Apparently the sailors can't keep themselves afloat AND defend themselves from those wishing to sink them at the same time... :-)

From Wikipedia:

Historical mission

At its founding, the Marine Corps was composed of infantry serving aboard naval vessels and was responsible for the security of the ship and her crew by conducting offensive and defensive combat during boarding actions, and defending the ship's officers from mutiny; to the latter end, their quarters on ship were often strategically positioned between the officers' quarters and the rest of the vessel.

Hmm, something to think about... ;-)

PS - The Marine Corps has never lost a battle it was ALLOWED to win...

PPS - This is not the forum for your bad-tempered comments... Carry it over to the Politics discussion...

gentlemen, I'm winning. P.S. My BP went up to 172/115 while my nurse was here. Then it dropped to 58/36. This happens almost daily for the past 18yrs. My Doctors can't even figure it out. All I know is it really rakes a toll on me. Dang I'm tired but don't want to sleep.
