Now for an actor that gave me pleasure in enjoying his films.

I Now present......

THE QUIET MAN

Not a bad choice. I think I prefer Clint Eastwood though. One of his best, Unforgiven. Nice supporting cast as well.

Agreed. I also liked his "Outlaw Josey Wales"

I also love the Do you feel lucky? scene. And the reprise.

Anybody seen Fracture yet? Anthony Hopkins just keep getting cooler and cooler.

I could say the same for Morgan Freeman in The Contract.

Most critics slammed him as "A sleepy actor".

I have seen quite a few of his films, & there are some powerful performances, & like "Cape Fear", some scary ones.

Sorry, Can't help it. I have over 7,000 videos & DVD's. The modern films have to be good to get into that collection.

What those Actors & Actresses had to go through to get to the top, I cannot see todays stars putting up with the same hardships & still hold onto that "Quality & Presence".

I must admit there are exceptions!!!

Thanks, and I generally agree with you guys.

Clint Eastwood was one of my favourites, right from the days of the Spanish Spagetti Westerns and The MAn with No Nmat!

I do think Charles Bronson was a cracking actor, and the films and stories he starred in were many and good!

Objection Your Honour! ...Substained!

Good.....good... not every one admittingly but some were brilliant!

One of my favourites is " Mr Majestic" & 1 I've forgotten the title of...where he starred as an assasin & training up Jan Michael Vincent. The end was a cracker where they killed each other.

@Msattler
Thanks for the "bullitt" link, much appreciated.

Thanks Labbie, even though I've seen it countless times, I just plain forgot.

What about "Assasination" with his wife, Jill Ireland.

Hi Pawly, yes it's very close. My wife & I are arguing at the moment, I say it's Halle Berry, she says no - who's right?

Tell your wife you know Halle when you see her.
I chose that pic because the pose and expression were similar but the resemblance is uncanny I think.
