You've continually tried to shut this thread down...

How so?

Or is this some sort of irrational make-believe religion?...

Peter Jennings Reporting: UFOs in American History
Seeing is believing

22 min 42 sec

http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=-1614846387438905636&hl=en-GB

On February 24, 2005, ABC's Peter Jennings broadcasted a 2hr Primetime special on UFOs titled "UFOs: Seeing is Believing."

This segment features the American history of UFOs, starting with the 1947 UFO sighting by Kenneth Arnold, a businessman and pilot, when the term "flying saucer" was first coined.

It also addresses the 1950s CIA Robertson Panel reportedly created to remove the aura of mystery of UFOs so that people would no longer take them seriously and no longer bother to report them because they were clogging the Pentagon's phone lines starting in 1952.

Jennings reports on the Robertson Panel: "So flying saucers, whatever they were, wherever they came from, were to be made the subject of ridicule."

On the Air Force's Project Bluebook, Jennings shows that it was a public relations effort to get UFOs out of the newspapers by saying that UFOs were nothing more than weather balloons, rare atmospheric conditions, a star on the horizon, or whatever it took.

Ohio state astronomer Dr. Allen Hynek was hired by the Air Force to work for Bluebook and discredit UFO sightings.

In 1969, the Air Force closed down Bluebook, stating a lack of scientific interest. There was one loud dissenting voice: Bluebook's chief scientist Dr. Allen Hynek who was once skeptical, but after more than 20 years and 12,000 UFO investigations, became a believer.

Dr. Hynek spent the rest of his life investigating and calling for serious scientific inquiry into the UFO phenomenon but most of his fellow scientists rejected his opinions.

This was in the Video UFO's: The greatest stroy ever denied. These UFO's are allegedly over 3 miles in diameter.

UFO's: The greatest story ever denied was a very interesting movie. Just out of curiosity, in the movie there were a few pictures of what looked like buildings on the far side of the moon. Are there also buildings on newer photos taken from recent satellites/space crafts such as Smart-1?

Spacecraft on the Moon???

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rc7mkHtuLOs

TV Feed from the lunar module LM-15 during the last revolution before descent. LM passes over Tsiolkovski, Fermi, Delporte and Lukte before passing on the Izsak Y crater. The spaceship is filmed with close telephoto lens, revealing more details. CDR communicates the South -East coordinates of the major parts of the spaceship, approximately 4 kilometers long. Color distortions are caused by the rotating wheel inside the Westinghouse Color TV Camera.

Spacecraft on the Moon???

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rc7mkHtuLOs

Looks good. Very curious...

So what's the follow-up?

Is there any sign of that thing on any other moon pictures?

What is there at those coordinates now?

Actually, the interference just before it shows is disturbing and even more disturbing is the fact that the linar lander would have had to be virtually motionless to focus on what it did for so long. No evidence of major zooming of the lens to keep it looking that way as the lander would have been moving away from it.

Good points,

I saw this at a friends house and just posted without looking into it. From your comments and the comments attached to the vid on YouTube I now have doubts.

I also wondered why I could not hear the voices, with only seeing text on the screen. It struck me as odd that they would venture a guess right then and there that it had been there billions of years, based on being hit by so many meteors. What was, and is, the frequency of such strikes on the Moon through its history and today?

Welcome to the world of Science!

It's always good to question, and to be Human!

Interesting vid and very interesting the lengths some folk will go to for fraud and fame!

As for the frequency of lunar impacts, it looks like the proposed return to the moon is spurring a whole new area of research...

NASA Meteoroid Environment Office
Lunar Meteor impacts
Lunar Impacts

The only reliable comment that I've found is that "more impacts = older" and that you just look at what features overlay other features... Ain't we got anything better?!

And as our technology advances, expect better frauds!
