Cheers Tim! Looks real nice in here!

I brought you a bottle of the best cognac I could find, for your bar.

It's Remy Martin's Fils de Louis XIII. ($1,350 a bottle nowadays, I believe.)

With my best wishes for this spawn...

Weird people at Yahoo.

Yahoo Timecapsule

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Oct 10, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO) today announced the launch of what is expected to be the world's largest time capsule in history. Starting today, Yahoo! is encouraging people from around the world to contribute personal photos, stories, thoughts, ideas, poems, home movies and art to this first-ever electronic anthropology project designed to document life in 2006. In celebration of the project, Yahoo! will illuminate one of the most well-preserved sites from ancient times by projecting selected time capsule submissions onto The Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan, Mexico from October 25-27, 2006, as well as beaming the material into space. Submissions for the Yahoo! Time Capsule can be made at timecapsule.yahoo.com or by searching for "Yahoo! Time Capsule" on Yahoo!.

Press release.

Plesent

Saying it nicely ... it's spelled "pleasant." :)
Feel free to point out my typos, spelling errors and run-on sentences (or split infinitives, or excessive use of parenthetical comments, or ...) in a nice way. :)

Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes.

@ All Adelphia/Comcast/Time Warner Broadband Customers; especially in California:

Time Warner is futzing with their DNS Servers. This means that while in Command Prompt you "MAY" be able to ping past your Cable Modem of 192.168.100.1 and into their "Network" of 24.52.x.x, or 67.x.x.x, or whatever "Network Node" you are on through Time Warner; you WILL NOT see the Internet! Internet Explorer, Firefox, and ALL other Browsers will fail...

Connectivity at this time will be intermittant, spotty, or not at all. The Los Angeles Trunk via Time Warner/Adelphia/Comcast DNS Servers ARE ALL BEING AFFECTED! This is due to Time Warner "making modifications" due to their "Takeover" of Adelphia and Comcast; and are "moving" equipment from Adelphia and Comcast over to Time Warner Equipment. There is "no known date or time for completion..."

Have a nice day... LOL

(This sucks!)

8-(

I wanted to get this posted while I still have intermittant connection... LOL Good Luck Everyone, hope to see you all later!

In the meantime, ROMULAN ALE AND GUINNESS FOR EVERYONE!!! 8-D

Here's the "funny" part! Vonage VoIP Service, (dedicated by IP Addresses), "...WILL still function!" I have full phone service; even though my Internet Connection is "spotty" at best. This is the ONE RARE occassion where VoIP is NOT affected by the Broadband Connection! (Nice, eh?)

LOL

More Romulan Ale and Guinness for Everyone!

@ KB7RZF,

Well, it really has to do with the fact that about two and a half months ago Time Warner bought out Adelphia and Comcast. So; now they "must" move the DNS Servers from Adelphia and Comcast over to Time Warner... Supposedly, (in California), this "will provide better service to Time Warner Customers..." The hope being that the speeds I had prior to the buyout, (6MB Download and 768K Upload), will be standardized for ALL Time Warner Customers... (Yeah, right, we'll see.) So far, their futzing around has lost me 25 to 30% of my Download Speeds and a 50% loss of my Upload Speeds.

Speakeasy.net Speed Test is fluctuating WILDLY and continues to report that my Upload Speeds are down to 430K Average... (50% Loss.) I've tried the L.A. Server, New York, Dallas, Chicago connections via Speakeasy; ALL seem to be affected. LOL

Again, this sucks!
