When do we get some credit for the work we are doing ? Or has this been lost into a blackhole with the rest of the corrupt data ? |

For those that really care about credit, I wonder what they'll prefer: working for BOINC and seeing no credit increase, or working for the classic version, getting credit in the old system but now ported to the new profile, given they already "migrated" the old credits to the new profiles months ago (well, they could update that "migrated" info when they stop the classic project - but there isn't any word about that). |

Rom Walton said that when Seti Classic is stopped for good the database figures will again be imported and the current numbers will be overwritten with the upto date Classic ones. ONLY the Classic stats will be overwritten! |

He COULD be overruled but that is not likely. Rom Walton is one of the main Boinc programers and was brought on SPECIFICALLY to help bring the project to completion! He was actually brought on during the Beta process and things went MUCH better after he came on! |

If Rom Walton says something he usually means it, but remember he is only a part of a team, and as mentioned, he can be over-ridden or things can always change between now and then for any of a number of reasons; keep in mind that Dr. Anderson has the final say. How's that for a run on sentence. ;) Account frozen... |

I don't mean the "official news", which we all know has problems in time and content. Seems UCB needs to have "official" messages posted in response to questions/concerns..... I think "andre" at Predictor works quite well in this capacity", and Seti/Boinc really needs someone like this! So, does Mr Anderson read these forums? |
