Can someone explain to me why my own team has disappeared and I have been placed in a team I left some months ago - also at least two hundred processed units are not shown on my account. What has happened to SETI@home? |

Thin Man, you are talking about Seti classic, as I see that you have not yet attached to Seti BOINC. Well, the two are different, you know... You can find all you're accustomed to on the website of Seti classic. And YES, in Seti BOINC your classic stats is shown as of March 2005. Beacuse it's a snapshot. This may also be the reason why you are shown your old team. You must have changed after March. A final snapshot will be made at shutdown of Seti classic, which should take place within months, we are told. You have already received your Seti BOINC account. So why not change? Besides the 'Get started' on the homepage of this site you'll find an excellent 'How to' in the BOINC-Wiki. :-)= Greybeard All about BOINC: BOINC-Wiki (by Paul D. Buck) |

Thanks again. TM |

This question about credit features in about every third post, perhaps if you read around... Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |
