I also just got assigned a new host venue number and my "Home" preference is no longer recognized either, even after updating my preferences in my account and updating the project. |

Anyone else remember "Memoirs of an Invisible Man" where everything goes bonkers when someone spills coffee on a keyboard? Just thought I'd try to lighten the mood. |

I also noticed that on my computer summary page my average turnaround time dropped to "0" and my maximum daily WU quota per CPU went from 100/day to 16/day. What's up with that...?. |

I have strange things also. 6/25/05 5:30:09 AM|SETI@home|Scheduler request to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi succeeded 6/25/05 5:30:09 AM|SETI@home|New host venue: 471676 6/25/05 5:30:09 AM||General prefs: from SETI@home (last modified 2005-06-24 21:40:32) 6/25/05 5:30:09 AM||General prefs: no separate prefs for 471676; using your defaults What's this now, the word home looks like it has been replaced by a zip code. LOL And my WU quota has dropped from 100 to 16 as well 98SE XP2500+ @ 2.1 GHz Boinc v5.8.8 And God said"Let there be light."But then the program crashed because he was trying to access the 'light' property of a NULL universe pointer. |

I have strange things also. My quota went to 56 and restored to 100 when I returned a result... Funny morning lol And we all know that every "good" problem appears Saturday mornings :) |

Same strange effects here... But my max daily WU quota per CPU is still at 100 per day. I do not know for what "new venue" changes are good for. It is not a problem for me right now. But I would still prefer to have the freedom to switch between 3 project preferences ;-) Greets from Luxembourg, Georges |

OOps! same here, two out of three systems have new venues as numeric values. One system has 'changed' venue twice. All of these chnages came from SETI@Home. SETIBeta, EAH, LHC and orbit seem OK. I fear that we're looking at some sort of data corruption at Berkeley. It would be a weekend. I'm turning off network upload/download until I know more.... |

I also had a strange situation today! My total credit went down to 97k something and later today I was back up to 99k. Never seen something similar earlier! Happy crunching Happy crunching |

Maybe Berkeley is about to add more venues and someone's experimenting with this now - introducing an uninitialized variable...? Such variables have a tendency to be random values. But for "home" to have changed, I guess it must've also changed position in the (new) venue sequence. |

At this time (12:20:10 UTC) the Transitioner backlog is 2 hours (trend: increasing) and sah_validate2@koloth seems to be down. Is there a link somewhere? Well yet another weekend ;-) Happy crunching, Georges |

[edit]Just for fun I added up all of my pending, overdue, and outstanding work units when I got this messssage. Anyone wanna guess what number I came up with? ... 42. Maybe it's just coincidence, but 100-42=58.[/edit] 7,049 S@H Classic Credits |
