THe exe and pdb started downloading at the same time. the exe finishes and then starts and finishes downloading a WU. Before the pdb file finishes the connection to berkeley was dropped and the WU errors out. This has happened since the inception of Boinc for me. This is one of the safety measures in place to ensure that you are not getting corrupted or compromised execuatable files. Again, this is a "normal" type of error that will happen when the servers are heavily loaded and packets exchanged get lost (or folded, spindled, or mutilated). It should correct itself with another download attempt. I know it is working as several of my machines have the new executable already... ID: 126829 ·

The matter is that I can download it "manually" from "http://setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah/download_fanout/setiathome_4.18_windows_intelx86.exe", but even if I copy it into the same directory of the .pdb, overwriting the same named one with wrong size, when I reset the project I still have the same error described previously. I think my only chance is to wait until tomorrow and see if something change. ID: 126832 ·
