Is the RAC calculation functioning? My old account (7822531) still shows a RAC of 14.50 even though I haven't crunched on that account in months. |

That host is not listed anymore in your hosts list. Account, not host ;) |

RAC is only updated (re-calculated) when new credit is granted. So even though I don't have any WU history or CPUs associated with the account, I still have an RAC? That doesn't make sense IMO. The RAC should be 0. I guess it's time to revisit BOINCzilla... |

RAC is only updated (re-calculated) when new credit is granted. Yes you do - at least in the seti db - 3rd party stats sites such as boincstats may re-calculate rac taking decay into account. That doesn't make sense IMO. The RAC should be 0. Personally I find the rac a bit too confusing still - so I don't use it at all for stats on my teams website. Instead I calculate an avarage of granted credit over the last 122 days - at least I know what that is *lol* I guess it's time to revisit BOINCzilla... Please, fill me in here: boinczilla?? |

Close. Modified name for BoincBugsSite inspired of MozillaBugsSite name: Bugzilla. I think I seen that thread somewhere (here?) where that name came up. BTW. I had a break in Seticrunching for 2-3 months and I had 110 in RAC when all WU been cleared of. :P Rac is not really recent is it. ;) |

Close. Modified name for BoincBugsSite inspired of MozillaBugsSite name: Bugzilla. Ahh, makes sence :) BTW. I had a break in Seticrunching for 2-3 months and I had 110 in RAC Not in that sence, but then again, the decay is freely available for use for the third party stats sites - as far as I know one of them only recently started doing re-calculating using this. Not sure, however, how accurate that would be though... |

Not in that sence, but then again, the decay is freely available for use for the third party stats sites - as far as I know one of them only recently started doing re-calculating using this. Not sure, however, how accurate that would be though... BOINC Synergy has been doing this for quite a while. The first time that you are granted credit, your RAC will be re-calculated and it is going to be really low... BOINC WIKI |
