I'm from New York. I was originally born in Guyana(South America). I work in the IT field, mainly Network Administration and Technical Support.
I have always looked to the skies and wonder if there is life out there on other planets. I just so happened to come across the Seti@home website a while back. I found it really insteresting and decided to sign up in hopes that I can contribute to what I feel is a very important and meaningful project.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I strongly believe that there is life out there on other planets for the simple reason that if we are here on Earth then whats to say that there is no life on all those other plantets out there in the universe.
We as a race should definately send out beacons for others to find because it would provide so much insight into the universe if only we knew that we are not the only intelligent life out there in the universe. This is the main reasone why I run Seti@home. Hopefully the information that my PC analyzes and sends back to SETI will be of some use.
