Personal background
University student in Western Canada. I'm currently majoring in Biology, but my school tells me I'm majoring in biology and chemistry, go figure.

Sample of my life: STUDY, coffee, STUDY, gym, STUDY, eat, SLEEP-STUDY, coffee.. *repeat* ;)

I spent my high school years slacking off and now I'm working hard to keep straight A+'s, hoping to transfer to the big boy McGill faculty of immunology and medicine!

Lets see, I love kayaking early in the morning, and I'd love a mountain bike but I'm one of them poor academic types. Oh ya I'm 20, and I'd rather be nowhere else than studying science or sleeping in my cozy bed.

Ta daaaaa *bows* :D
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Well I was google'ing something to do with biology and I noticed an interesting conversation on one of the SETI messageboards about the origin of life, and how some guy figured maybe aliens are humans who left Earth ages ago..you know that cup of tea.. And I was like sweet who are these crazy people?! And the messageboard directed me to SETI. I remembered hearing about it on daily planet methinks, so I joined up. Once I saw the cool graphics and boasted how I was using my laptop to search for aliens I just kept coming back.
