Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
1. My first time to engage in this program. Thought it might be fun and support what I think is a worthy scientific effort.
2. A good project. It\\'s just a matter of time and our ability to progress technologically to find many of the answers we\\'re looking for out there. We have so much to learn. Hopefully, we can learn enough before our time is over here on this planet.
2. I need to understand more about this project and how it works. I am just now learning the basics of the SETI program and how to control its options.
2. Lets get on with the program!! Crank the numbers!!
3. I feel I need a way to send an e-mail directly to the folks that are controlling the Project ( there is NO clear way to do that). Often, I am away from my home and computer and must shut things down. Not by my choice, but by duty requirenments. So, my stats go down and it may look like I stopped processing for the project... But that's not the case. I just must go places sometime and I can't monitor my computer. I must suspend things and I just want to let the folks at SETI know.
