I'm a real Bavarian, born in 1973, working as a System Engineer.
I like participating in BOINC Projects because I think Distributed Computing is something interesting with a "Science Future (not Fiction) Touch" and will surely grow amazingly the next Years in Members, Projects AND Results.
Second it gives Non-Scientists like I am the Chance to do something good for Science. May it help someone - what I hope - I will let my fairly bored CPU crunch on and on and on.

Easy to say:
I'm 100% sure that there IS something out there looking out in Space like we do and i just want to help a bit to find each other. Maybe i'll be a Whitness of some Results but I don't think that our Generation will get in Contact with other Races. The coming maybe will. If they can match to keep good old Earth up and healthy then maybe. Nontheless I think S@H is the easiest and best Way for everyone helping the Scientists to get the "crunching" Part of the Work done faster. |
