Profile: Astro-AL

Personal background
My name is AL Walter III my age is 68 yrs. Life is too short and not always fair, but I make it a point to enjoy it and make the best use of each day. I consider myself intelligent and honest. My friends consider me outgoing, responsible and user friendly. My internal clock tells me I am an evening person, which is perfect for astronomy. I adapt well to normal hours of the day if I want or need to do something in a regular hour of the day. I had a steady job for 27 years with the same company as an H.V.A.C. tech, and enjoyed the work, but now I'm retired. My main hobbies are Astronomy and Riding off road Quads. I have been into astrophotography using Celestron's C8 telescope for more than 20 yrs. I also enjoy riding quad runners in the great out doors with my son. I am somewhat into writing web pages. My web page carries the SETI logo, because I believe we will discover other intelligent life. I just hope I will live long enough to witness it. If interested in lots of photos on astronomy, ATV's and family stuff follow the link below. Please take a minute to sign my guest book.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe we will discover other intelligent life. I believe we should make all efforts to contact other life in our vast universe. There is other life, other than us. God created the heavens and also created the earth for man. Anyone, whom can't grasp it, should think in terms of sheer numbers. There are millions of galaxies and billions of stars.

How can we be alone?
