Name:Magnus Thulin

Hi! I'm a Chief engineer at sea, and i have been watching the stars since i was a kid. Not so much examine them as wondering where and why..
If i read SciFi.. Yepp :o) Most of the authors.. from South American to Russian. My hobbies are computers/Net, photography, home improvments.

As soon as i got my network running i will add two more clients, one more windows and one linux. I also plan to rearrange my website.. maybe even start a webserver.

Greetings to all of you!
Magnus Thulin

Much later: Hehe i wrote that a long time ago and this project shurely has developed :) lets rock guys, lets go get em!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
It feels good to be able to contribute to the search for ETI. Since i installed the client i've from time to time been looking at the progress bar and the scores. :o) (even if i know it slows down the progress)

I think humanity needs to find for shure that we are not alone.
Should we transmit a beacon..? Yes! Naturally.. i don't think the content matters much, as long as it got a "steady beat" :o) ..an "eye catcher" if it pulsates in an "unatrual way" someone will notice it, and if between the beats an information is transmitted, so much better..

I don't see any dangers with this.. we are in far greater danger already, with ignorance and stupidity behind the "rudder"
