I'm a GP in the UK with a long-standing interest in computers. I like SciFi too, though I avoid the UFO stuff.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I have a moderate sized network at home and at work; as we all go away and leave the work PC's running out of hours, it seems only fair & sensible to have them do something useful [like watching out for little green men, for instance) when we're not looking.
Currently they're working harder at predicting the climate; it wasn't always so.
I look forward to the eventual contact with aliens, but don't think it has happened yet!
I will contribute spare computer time gladly to projects that pique my interest! |
