Personal background
Hello fellow SETI@home participants. My name is Josh, and I've been running SETI@home since April 2016, and I'm very proud to donate unused processing power. I believe that even the very small act of donating processing power to a great cause, no matter how small of a donating, all adds up, and soon you have a massive network that is able to scan the galaxy and hunt for other intelligent life. SETI is an overlooked, but important part of modern science, while some people may think of them as tin foil hat wearing dreamers, finding other intelligent life in this universe will be the biggest and greatest accomplishment of what ever century it occurs, and possible of humanity as a whole, and to have helped, even this small amount, is a wonderful feeling.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home for the above reasons. I don't like the website theme or layout much, I actually hate it, so I'd suggest you maybe add optional themes.
