The upload is not working again over here, are there some problems?
Please let me know,I'll have almost 6 work units and it try to upload
but every time the server give me a delay.

Jim, you just made me think back. My first cruncher was a Pentium Pro 200. It cost over $3000, and had an 8 Meg video card. It was made by Blitz Computers. I was delighted to be able to contribute to the scientific community. I've come a long way as far as crunching power goes, and this was mostly in the last year. Now I will always build my own system, based on what I have learned. It took me a lot of mistakes to come up with the beast I have now.

I'm getting work now. But Ohh so slowly. It will download at about .10k then stop for a while then start again. Is it manly due to so many people trying to get work?

Semi expected. See the cricket graphs. Right now it says >93 MBPS are in use of a 100 MBPS channel. When that backs off a bit everyone should get through on the first try.

Precisely what I stated a few posts ago. Server overload. It's like waiting in line for the most popular ride at a theme park. Everyone will get a chance to ride it, but you have to wait your turn in line :P I imagine Tuesday afternoon things should be somewhat back to normal. Though since our weekly outage begins then, it will be hard to tell. We might actually get a three day outage this time. Patience is a virtue.

In a word, yes. The servers are trying to squeeze in as many as they can but it's like overloading a truck. It can't pull the load as fast as it should and some of the load falls off now and then and the driver has to stop and pick up what fell off.

But on my computer shows this:

http error and servers temporarily down.

So from yesterday evening Europe time, the upload failed again.

Everytime it shows also project delay 2:17hour and then 1:16 hour
and sometime's 4:20 hour delay. So the upload over here failed again.

But can this be solved by change the number of CPU in cc_config?

I am still having issues uploading must have around 100 to upload with more each hour

Sorry to ask a stupid question, but what do you mean by "CPUs x2' ULs". I am new to this bonic.....i am sleeping for a long while after the seti classic :P

For example your AMD Athlon64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+, a 2 threads CPU.

BOINC say CPU to CPU-Core (threads), then 'CPUs x2' is: 2 x 2 = 4

'> CPUs x2':
So if your BOINC have 5 results ready for upload, but they can't go to S@h, BOINC don't ask for new work - until they are uploaded.

Well, new WUs are generating now, but upload server still doesn't work, so I've got 20 completed WUs and I can't download new WUs before some of previous been uploaded...

If you have '> CPUs x2' ULs in the transfers overview in BOINC, BOINC don't ask for new work.

For example, QUAD-CPU -> 9 ULs and no work request.

One of the RAID arrays failed to rebuild. Personnel from Overland Storage are working to solve the problems. Meanwhile we're creating temporary working storage on Thumper.

Well, new WUs are generating now, but upload server still doesn't work, so I've got 20 completed WUs and I can't download new WUs before some of previous been uploaded...

At this point (22:00 PDT Friday night) it will probably be sometime Tuesday afternoon Berkeley time (PDT=UTC-7).
