I think Scarecrow's example pegs it. It was trash, already written off by the former owner, and therefore fair game. The only extenuating circumstance was that the person doing the "finders, keepers" routine was an employee of the agency that agreed to dispose of said property on behalf of the former owner. He's not guilty of a crime, not even of breech of contract, since he himself was not a signatory. However, if BMG decide to press the issue with the USPS and win a suit on some grounds, the postal worker is probably looking at losing his job for the trouble he caused his employer.

Mr Mistoffelees mentioned making the CDs unusable first. This brings to mind a bookstore's reminder to staff I once happened to notice behind the counter. Since bookstores claiming a credit on unsold paperbacks from the publisher are only required to send back the torn-off front cover as proof, the store management issued a memo reminding staff to tear the book down the spine as well before tossing the remains in the dumpster.

When I got the message from him, in my inbox and in the message, his user name had the little head in profile icon beside it indicating he had a profile, although I couldn't get to it when I clicked on the icon.

In all honesty, my very favorite war-themed movie is undoubtedly Starship Troopers. I realize it isn't a historical film, but I adore it!! "I'm from Buenos Aires, and I say kill 'em all!" haha legendary dialogue!

Good film. Would have been nice if it resembled the book.

Not much on War films myself, but I think Schindler's List is about the best I've seen, or at least, the one that sticks out in my mind.

I am reminded of Sean Connery in the movie version of "The Avengers".

Okay, first of all, forgive me for posting this here. I would have sent it direct to the powers that be, but I couldn't find a contact for them. If it's here, however, I'm certain that it'll find its way into the right hands. At the very least, it's something I think folks here should be aware of.

I run a website. I have an e-mail contact form on it that sends me a specially flagged e-mail to the admin account, for sending comments. Within the last few weeks, I've been getting spam through the contact form rather than directly to the address. Initially, I just found this a new and annoying way of getting ED drugs advertised at me, but then I actually read the message...

I've received other similar mails, where the "message" and the sending address are different, but the URLs are the same. I've checked the account profiles, and of course, they have no credits, and they're certainly no credit to SETI.

I'd ask anyone with the admin's e-mail address to fire this along to them. They need to know pronto. Cheers.

I've spent the last few days learning the words to Flower of Scotland, even if the French play it too slow...
