It protects a bit more if you have your hadware firewall closed to outbond trafic but I doubt that's the case. David

2) Questions and Answers : Windows : Boinc always runs even with Do work while computer is in use? No (Message 27413) Posted 17 Sep 2004 by lapa-network.net Post: Since last week (I entered climateprediciton.net project) all my computers with boinc run always. My problem is that I have the option in General Preferences: Do work while computer is in use? set to "No". Boinc program seems not to obey this setting and runs always. Can anyone help-me or give me some advice? thanks, David
