I opened this box for XMAS and found a box within a box, which contains a 3.5" 1.44Mb Mitsumi FDD, a Teac 52x Eide CD Rom drive, an AOpen 235w ATX psu & Case, and a Seagate ST32122A 2.1GB Medalist Eide hdd(used to be a Conner drive), this is a future home of an EATX Amiga 2000 motherboard. I also received an EIDE cable and a floppy drive cable with the case, I do know how to test everything, including a psu as I have a multimeter which can test psu's and motherboards or other circuit boards. Sorry I don't do work on light sabers... I just started to clean the outside of the case, the inside just needs a vacuum cleaner. I'll have to get my 950w psu down My case. It came in that box and that I opened today. The 3 drives... The 3.5" drive cage. Inside the AOPENed case. That's my Xmas, that and a used car that on the rear says EV in bold letters... Merry Xmas all. A low mileage 2015 Chevy Spark 2LT EV with 58,332 miles when I bought it online, I paid $500 to transport it 431 miles, winter and fall cut the battery some from 53 miles to 47, but this will return in the spring, new the battery would do 82 EPA miles, the car is hooked up to a 3.3Kw charger and a cable. I intend to ask about repairing the transit battery, which entails replacing weakened LG Chem cells. My relatives want to see this, oh and the cables to hook up the car to my home cost less than $292 total, labor was mostly done by a friend and I helped as much as I could, I'm awaiting the plates at this moment. Posting on a Hump Day morning before going on another road trip westward. We got off to an 11C (felt like 10C) start here with 26C being expected here while 30C is expected where I'm going so I hope that I can be heading back from there well before that heat sets in. Anyhow I better get myself a coffee. Cheers. |

Well my road trip went quickly today with little traffic and no holdups. It was already up to 27C out west while I was there getting back here to a better 24C (felt like 21C). Anyhow it's time now for a few beers. Cheers. |

Well I'm going to see if I can get back to sleep again after an interruption. Well were you able to fall back to sleep? I was. We had a fire near my house. Six trucks, several patrol cars, and a helicopter all responded. It woke me. It was over a 1/2 mile away. I got dressed and walked up the levy to see it. When I saw it posed no risk, I then came back and went to sleep. |

I did Carlos and I enjoyed it. :-) Well Thorsday got off to an 11C (felt like 10C) start here while 27C is expected and as soon as the dew dries I'll be out to attend to the grass. Anyhow I'll get a coffee or 2 in before then. Cheers. |

After an 10C (felt like 9C) start here we're again under a clear sky with 30C being expected today which maybe followed by storms later on. Anyhow it's time for a coffee as I wait for the dew to dry so that I can finish off the yard before more days of rain arrive. Cheers. |

Blustery breezy still after the storm. ... And I'm tediously stuck in the food desert, likely across the new year, on an ongoing call out... At least progress looks to be ahead of schedule. Top marks to those jumping in to fix the significant breakage immediately early on! And my good food hamper is too quickly running out. And I may as well get updated on new technical areas rather than suffer the lack of anything much around here... At least there is one (and only one) stout served within walking distance. Yep, that's me all geekie in the corner! At least the yocals/locals are benign enough... All part of the fun. Will see if a relief can make it over to share the fun around the New Year... Just taking a break in cool 18C (feels like 15C) comfort while outside it's already 24C, but all is ready for a quick run around with the mower now to finish the yard off. Anyhow I guess I better get the mower ready now. Cheers. |
