Posting on a damp Sunday morning down under as Thor puts on another performance. Time for a coffee. Cheers. |

My corner of the upper left coast is 35f with 95% humidity, light fog and my ductless heat pump is regularly frosting up. |

Middle of winter just past the solstice of the darkest day and... It's all gone strangely mild and balmy and the vegetation here is convinced we've already jumped into spring! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Now that Thor and the heavy rain have left the stage it's strangely quiet here now. Anyhow I'll get a 2nd coffee in before I head outside to see how soggy things are after the extended performance. [edit] Well things are very soggy here this morning after 44.75mm which more than doubled this month's rainfall and if tomorrow throws in another 20mm we'll have made our long term average for the month. Cheers. |

It has warmed up to 41f with 92% humidity and the light fog continues. Now with the temp above 40 the heat pump is not frosting up, |

The temp has dropped to 39 with a 97% humidity. I expect my heat pump to start frosting up, The over night low is forecast to be in the low 30s. |

Not wishing those who took my Xmas mail from my sister in law to me last year and maybe if she sent it before the 13th this year, now since I had the money I got a newer car so I can go to the Post Office to get my mail in person and a new key for the PO Box, I do need to walk some, a person I suspect or her brother is not happy as she or him were opening my mail looking for money, last year I was given 2 opened envelopes and the person who gave them to me blamed the PO personnel which would get them fired at the very least and is not worth their time for mere pennies... The change cost me $25.00, but now my mail is secure again as is the new key, and the old key does not work anymore, she was upset and I'd told her why 3 times, now if I get mail I'll check if she gets any mail and deliver it since she is on the way back home. I went from a Royal Blue 24yr old car when it ran that emitted CO2 and that attracted flies, to a Lime Green 8yr old car that emits no CO2 and does not attract flies and runs when I need it as it does not lack for energy unlike the old one that quite a bit of the time could not be moved cause money was tight. Gas stations aren't needed by me, not unless my tires(2-185/55r15(Front) & 2-195/55r15(Rear) need some air, the EV has both traction control and sport mode, plus DC Fast charging($2.40 per 5.34Kwh, currently 1/2 the big battery, later about a 1/4 w/a refurb battery). Merry Xmas to those who celebrate the 25th. Next is a tankless electric 240v water heater for on demand water heating, after that an elongated toilet and have both toilets installed, my relatives should have the rear bath vanity & sink installed sometime in 2024. Then get the floors fixed here, and paint the home's exterior. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |
