Here enjoying blazing sunshine between blobs of clouds rattling by. There's quite a squally blast at times, but without any rain. Is there or isn't there Portent for later? There's a good few trees around here denuded of leaves and flowers from the blasts of rain from earlier in the week... My friend showed up and with his DeWalt drill fixed my bed and we used all 17 wood slats, 4 that are not screwed down and came with the bed frame and 13 Southern Yellow Pine imported from Argentina, but it's fixed, the box spring didn't get it's cover. The wood side rails can hurt when sat on. Thank you Argentina, the wood slats and #6 screws and m4 washers are all in there, the 13 slats had a hole in each end and all 13 are screwed down. I sat on it and it not only did the bed not hurt to sit on, the bed did not try and have me fall into its gaping maw... I will have to open the mattress cover and let some air out and put on the top sheet, otherwise it's done, my bed is fixed and not broken anymore. Well they reckon that the rest of the day's play at the cricket is likely done due to the weather so I might as well hit the sack at this very early hour of Monday morning. Cheers. |

Yep. That was a wet one last night. ... And the Monsoon builds up yet again for yet more... Is the weather doing a Montezuma's Revenge on all our rampant excesses of CO2 and CH4?... See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |
