We made it to 11C (felt like 5C) here today, so there's still plenty of snow falling down south along this mountain range (the snow fields were full with later traffic being turned around), and it's now down to 5C (feels like 1C), but after another cold start tomorrow we're suppose to take a big leap back into an early spring.

Cheers.

Is that a wish, a statement, or hopeful hope of a new future?

Thanks.

296lbs is for the moment my goal to get down to, for the moment getting up from a seated position is easier, though I still need 10 pain pills a day, 5 morning & 5 evening, the 5 are 3 Bayer aspirin 500mg+32mg caffeine and 2 acetaminophen 650mg.

After a -2C (felt like -4C) start here it's now up to 15C (feels like 12C) with 18C being expected.

It'll also be good to get out and have a beer at the pub today after days of foul weather, but it's just a little too early yet for a Sunday LLB.

Cheers.

Being my car was made in 02/99 I have a 2 piece gear for the crankshaft, those made after 05/99 use a single piece gear instead, so I looked up the part number and bought ONE PIECE...
Nothing like timing problems, I even have to replace the water pump since it resides in the housing for the timing belt.
The Zetec 2.0L engine is at least a non-interference engine.
While I was outside snapping a pic of the VIN's date, I gathered up all the trash in my car's passenger compartment including a french fry that I didn't eat, I almost couldn't stand or walk after that, but it looks better, next the trunk, I wonder what I'll find in there...
It still needs the glove box repaired, glove boxes in this car are somewhat fragile, as it has happened before.
The Battery Tender is maintaining the AGM Battery.

A AGM battery is more robust in my opinion over a lead-acid. My car is on its fourth battery. The first three were lead-acid. The fourth is AGM. I’m very impressed with the AGM’s longevity over the others. Will buy another AGM when needed after this one. It is going strong after five or six years. The last lead-acid failed before warranty expired and was prorated.

Walmart had 2 batteries in red with bronze posts, both were more than the AGM from O'Reilly, the lead acids I would have had to go and retrieve them, the AGM came via UPS. This one has 720cca, now when the timing and oil pan gasket, 2 motor mounts, pwr steering hoses are installed, right now the battery is just being maintained.

And right now I'm staying out of the storm outside.

Chance of rain: 100%

1.65" is predicted from Hilary, yep I'm a few hours from rainfall from the East,
Midnight is predicted and the rain is coming this way 18/28mph from the East.

We got to 17C (felt like 13C) here today, but as the day draws to a close we're down to 2C (feels like -0C) with -1C expected in the morning.

Anyhow I better get to bed before midnight arrives.

Cheers.
