The temp here made it to 16C (felt like 12C) today while I was enjoying a few beers at the pub, but it's entering Frostville already at 3C (feels like 1C) with a warmer -2C expected tomorrow morning (though that could be optimistic). Anyhow I guess that I should consider something for dinner, but I'm not so sure if I want anything after the massive steak sandwich I had at the pub for lunch. Cheers. |

Well the temp here got down to -0C (felt like -3C) overnight, but as the sun rises it's up to 6C (feels like 4C) with 15C being expected. Anyhow it's coffee time. Cheers. |

All is very soggy and wet and muddy and squelchy... And more deluges still to come?... And we've rediscovered that radio waves don't get anywhere through water... And and... This is far too early in the morning! Even the feasty mozzies haven't woken up yet!! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

I've been dressed to do some metalwork here today, but our mostly sunny day hasn't been anything like that so far (though it is starting to improve) so that job will wait until tomorrow morning now (if they get the forecast right this time), instead I've just been inside doing domestic jobs and I could've fed Robbie the Robot a little breakfast this morning to take the chill out of downstairs to expand my comfort range. Anyhow it's time for a few beers now to unwind. Cheers. |

UHF doesn't but LF is used to talk to submarines. ... And we need something a little faster than Morse Code...! Far better is if we could use our own optical fibre but... Regulations and public roads and telecoms monopolies with unreasonable infeasible costs get in the way... And the clouds doth bubble and roil into great portent of Biblical mountains of deluge... UHF doesn't but LF is used to talk to submarines. What a shame, no one speaks ELF here, maybe the protocol droids do. ;) The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |
