Winning on a very soggy Thorsday morning as the rain continues dancing on my roof.

Now where's my coffee?

Cheers.

Oh what a beautiful flat calm day with cinematic wispy clouds contrasting gently with a pale blue sky...

Is this springtime, summer, or a bright autumn??

... And very good to have enjoyed a day off!

As the rain took a short break (and a bit of sunshine came out) I went to take a look at the discharge end of my drainage trench and for a trench that's 30m long (over 98'), about 150mm (6") wide and just 200mm (8") inside the high side of my yard the amount of water flowing out of it is absolutely incredible (well I certainly have a water feature in my yard now) while I dumped 37mm (1.5") out of the rain gauge with more expected.

Anyhow it must time for another coffee.

Cheers.

Winning now that I got the jungle in the lane tamed while getting the whole backyard knocked down a further notch (with many notches left to go yet).

I'm not so sure about taking the mower for a tune up yesterday though as the thing went for 2hrs before it started to splutter.

Anyhow I'll enjoy a couple of beers now while I decide whether to do it all again at a notch lower this afternoon.

Cheers.

Time now for me to run the mower over this damp yard again, but at 2 notches lower than yesterday and hopefully tomorrow I can get it all back to its normal height before the rain strikes again.

Cheers.

Winning as the end of another weekend quickly approaches here down under.

I'll see what my yard looks like tomorrow to see if it'll be worth doing another lower cut on it before our next rain event gets here or it'll be at least a week before the weather will allow another go at it.

Anyhow tomorrow morning I should be getting a 13.8KW solar system installed on my shed's roof (the house roof is orientated the wrong way), but I'll likely lose my solar heating system when done (though there's still the wood heater when needed).

Cheers.
