One mandate that is about to expire thanks to declining cases.

So sorry, but burst yer bubble I must.

Not in the county with the stadium.

The county has a health department, do you honestly think the state is the only one with the power for a mandate?

Well the clouds and the easterly wind have returned as some weather is building up along the eastern escarpment, but we have made it to 20C (feels like 17C) with 23C being expected (though we havn't reached an expected max in over a week now).

We should get another taste of summer later in the week followed by a wet weekend, but other than that this could be 1 of the coolest February's here on record as so far we're over 2C below on our average temps.

Cheers.

I think San Bernardino County follows the lead of Los Angeles County in matters of health.

After a wander around the yard cleaning up some rubbish that had been blown into it I've decided to give myself another day off from finishing the house cleaning as the old spine still hasn't quite recovered from last week's big effort around the yard and down in the house, but I must say that those galahs that have been in my yard the last few days have left a bit of a mess behind them while chewing on the grass seeds that only another mow will fix. :-(

Cheers.

Well with some help from a friend, not to mention Google for Directions to the Bear Valley Animal Hospital in Apple Valley CA, We got Duo home today.

I cleared off the kitchen countertop for Duo’s feeder and the waterer for both, though the cat carrier is there now.

Oh and there has been NO Hissing or Booing or anything, outside of me needing to go to the bathroom as I’d been cooped up in my car almost all day… Happy St Valentines Day all!

I gave him some Sheba canned cat food, like about 1.5oz, so far he’s not hungry. He wasn’t supposed to have anything to eat until after 6pm, it’s after 8pm.

The ice maker is making ICE, yep the ICE Age restarts here! ;)

Grace and Duo meet, there’s no hissing, he’s still groggy and can’t eat a lot,
some canned food and some DHMO
every few hours, he has tape holding the incision closed so I was told it’s ok to leave him in the carrier to
keep him from jumping and tearing himself open.

Duo is not interested in the Cuisine here, maybe when he gets hungry.
It’s Sheba TUNA...
Grace is very interested in him, I think Grace likes Duo.

Winning while enjoying the last hour of sunshine for the day after getting a lot of my usual Hump Day domestic duties done today instead of tomorrow.

Cheers.

Happy day, Duo has survived the night, at 4pm He comes out.
His incision should be better maybe even healed or mostly there from what I've been told.

Winning on a Hump Day morning as a glow in the east gets brighter.

[edit] I've just got a load of washing in the machine so I can now enjoy a coffee.

Cheers.
