Or is it Hebridean Island attempting to either relocate to the East, or allow us to "enjoy" the cooling breeze it enjoys for much of the year Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

The rain was 15+ hours late getting here, but it did get here, and Thor put on a bit of a show as well. Cheers. |

While taking a break in the cricket I'll report that we got 4mm here this morning and we were still getting lite rain at 9am when I read it, but we've had some good sunshine since so the mercury is up to 22C (feels like 21C) now as the clouds begin to build back up. Now it's time to make a couple of sandwiches before the cricket resumes. Cheers. |

Well, my first two days at work have been taking safety classes, driving classes, sexual harassment classes, and classes on company benefits. Having to get used to driving again. It took me 3 hours to get home last night. The freeways were closed for hours due to a road rage shooting. Welcome to the big city. |

I'm trying to hear myself think as the rain pounds down on my roof and the thunder rattles my windows. Cheers. |

Having a metal roof I hear the rain, blink, drip, drip, tink, drip, plus I've heard thunder so close you'd think it wanted to move in with me. Soon I need to get someone out here to install some rain gutters, the balls would like that too. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Well the noise got worse before it got better with hail eventually bouncing off it, but now we are enjoying bright sunshine with the temp already up to 18C (feels like 16C) and there was 18.5mm in the rain gauge. More rain and storms are expected here this arvo. :-( Cheers. |

And in planetary sympathetic resonance, we too have rain... And mud... Still... A bit of rustic sogginess is much preferred over the steaming smell of dirty polluted wet concrete and tarmac where even a blade of grass is out of place... We made it to 21C (feels like 18C), but another thunderstorm is about to hit here. Thankfully none of the storms that have run through here this morning will effect play at the Gabba, but it could be another 2 session day there. Cheers. |

We went from 9c to 12c with a few drops of rain falling willy nilly about. |
