Ever Run Out of Gas?
Nope. Never. Do planes run out of gas? Ever stop to think why? Oh, thinking, that's why. Think to check how far you can go and how far the destination is. Then do subtraction. I know, thinking about the future is very hard for some. Some want an unchanging world where there is no need to think about the future.

Consider that, if you have a brain that you allow to function.

Ever Run Out of Gas?

No.
And all the electric cars I have been in or seen have GPS and when it's getting low on charge will give you directions to the nearest charging point.

And if you are going on a long journey and use the GPS to plan your route it will show you suggestions to change route to get to the best charging points.

Ah, another thoughtless thread for my thesis on the rock solid brain.

It just goes to prove that it's only the thoughtless who run out of juice (no matter what fuel you rely on).

BTW, with electric vehicles that run out of juice because of their thoughtless owners, most road service vehicles these days have a quick charger in them to get enough juice back into the battery to get them to the nearest charging station (just like they do with the liquid stuff). ;-)

And if you are going somewhere where you might think you could run out of juice. You can always buy a "portable power station" that can be charged from "foldable solar panels" and/or "portable wind generators". And then you can fill up for free even if it takes a few hours.

I will run out of juice about as often as I have run out of gas driving the last 60 years which is never.

So you not only forget to fill your vehicle, you forget to charge your phone.

Do I see a pattern here?

I wonder if that pattern fits into not being able to recognize conspiracy theory.

If you put "conspiracy theory patterns" into your favourite search engine you will get hundreds of psychology papers.

Knowing a couple of people with electric cars & vans.....
When they had ICE engines they could predict quite accurately how far a tank of fuels would take them and still have a sensible reserve and didn't run out.
But now they are having to build in much bigger reserves as the range is dependant on so much beyond just miles covered - they've found even heavy rain knocks a fair chunk off!!! And then there's the recharge planning, they have to assume that over a third of the recharge points aren't available for one reason or other, then there's the time to charge, great if you have a Tesla, but some others (the vans......) it really does eat into the day.
The guys doing long haul work with the vans are now reconsidering their options for their replacement vehicles, but those on short (round town) work are almost set on not going back to ICE any day soon.

And if the delivery drivers are like those for DPD, Amazon etc. then get out the winter woollies because you will not be able to run the cabin heater, because that will take another third off your mileage.

Don't forget the RV's & Caravans.
Wonder if the manufacturers have cottoned on yet & start designing those with Solar panels & internal charging points. :-)
Hmm...
1 of 2 options.
1: Caravans stuck on roads out of juice.
2: Caravan free roads.
...:-)
