Heard yesterday at the pub, "I'm not putting that swill in my body!"

Ain't been to a pub since the first week of March 2020. Not even much in the 3 months before that. NYE celebration seemed haunted. Not that I'm psychic. Or ... am I? No. No, I am not.

Heard today, "They are going to give it to kids 5 years old?!"

(Its sometimes fun just listening to others)

As the U.S. celebrates the grand opening of its brand new 43M+ clubhouse the world's total case tally has passed 229.8 million while total deaths now exceed 4,713,000.

Changes to the top 50 of the death list were Nepal bumping Switzerland out of 49th spot as Myanmar passed Egypt, but they remain in 39th as Vietnam took flight over both of them as well as Japan to land in 37th spot, and now it's onto the case list update.

Antigua/Barbuda replaced Bhutan in 198th place, New Caledonia took flight again this time passing over Bhutan, the British Virgin Islands, Turks/Caicos, St. Vincent Grenadines, Dominica becoming the 193rd member of the 3K+ club before also passing Sao Tome/Principe, Monaco and Liechtenstein to come down for refueling in 190th while Grenada also took flight over Monaco/Liechtenstein, Saint Martin, New Zealand, Comoros and Sint Maarten to land in 185th, Bermuda jumped over Comoros and Sint Maarten into 184th as Brunei displaced Chad from 182nd, Barbados replaced Sierra Leone in 175th and Mauritius passed Burundi and Lesotho to move into 157th spot.

Laos was another country to take wing passing over Belize, P.N.G., Timor-Leste and Somalia to claim 146th spot, the Bahamas sailed past Mayotte into 144th as Cabo Verde passed Malta before Suriname jumped over both into 132nd, Singapore kicked Luxembourg out of 115th while Australia leapfrogged the Maldives and Cameroon into 111th, Latvia and Estonia both passed Mozambique to take over 97th & 98th respectively and Mongolia booted Bahrain out of 81st place.

South Korea slipped past Slovenia to claim 78th place, Libya and Ethiopia continue to fight over 73rd & 74th positions while Venezuela leapfrogged Denmark and the Dominican Republic into 70th, Sri Lanka became the 56th member of the 500K+ club as Costa Rica replaced Ecuador in 54th, Tunisia became the 46th country to enter the 700K+ clubhouse and Cuba zipped past Nepal to become the 42nd member of the 800K+ club.

Kazakhstan was removed from 37th spot by Serbia as Romania replaced Sweden in 33rd while Israel leapt over Belgium and Pakistan to land in 30th and the Philippines kicked the Ukraine out of 18th.

Meanwhile here down under a few hundred covidiot morons are once again out on the streets of Melbourne causing more trouble while spreading their filthy diseases around.

I moved about 2 months ago and, actually, the fridge here holds more general. (Surprised I wasn't able to wait until this was over, but life happens.) And, I must admit, some alcohol goes in this fridge. I wish it didn't. But, again, life happens.

Listing in tonight was an amazing treat.

Lady sits down at the bar with her "date" and immediately by the way she talked to the bartender you could tell she was a self entitled one and her date was being treated like an untouchable. After a few words it was obvious she had a Texas drawl. She happened to sit next to one of our republican regulars. She asked before she said much if he was a democrat because she knew she was in Kalifornia. He assured her he wasn't and she could speak freely. Pub is frequented by a lot of right wing types but not exclusively and everyone is careful to not start big arguments, we all enjoy the place and it is just like Cheers, everyone knows your name and business. Comes out during her chat she is a lawyer and works in the medical field. That's the background.

She tell us that Trump is not a conservative. She says the people ["them"] telling you that he is conservative are lying and out to control you. She tell us he is a dangerous unpredictable evil. She hope he never has any power again. She says Biden is evil, but he is a transparent evil and she can deal with that and is even glad he is in office and not Trump. Not what you might expect.

She also tells us that there is no such thing as Covid or Sars CoV2. That "they" are our spreading a lie to get government control over you. She has seen the data to "prove" it. That "they" want to get you into the habit of having to show documents to go places and that "they" will get you to put tracking software on your phones and cars. This because our regular mentioned he has to show vax and answer health questions to visit his customers. She informs us how this is BS and that you can't escape neglience if someone were to catch the disease that she has said doesn't exist.

She tell us how DeSantis is a saint for the things he is doing in Florida.

She tell us that the moon Landings were faked in a sound studio. She tell us that it is BS there are satellites are in orbit and that comes from the lying military who wants to control you. Don't know how another regular who works at JPL and license plate is MARSDVR kept his cool, unless he didn't hear it. The republican regular she was talking with makes high temperature coatings some of which are used by SpaceX for their engines. He lost it a bit, but eventually just got disgusted and decided to exit stage left.

I nearly went up to her and thanked her for her thought process and all people who think like her. I was going to say how they have enabled me to be able to take an early retirement, if I needed to. I'm sure the 'what do you do' question would be next. "Ma'am I do accounting for a mortuary and cemetery." However discretion is the better part of valor.

OBW the republican regular stopped right behind my booth and we exchanged pleasantries over a divider. He said he liked a couple things she had to say, but his assessment was she was bat $h*t crazy.

Yes, they exist. The USA doesn't have mental health care.

Crazy indeed. But "they're" out there! (The self-deluding that is.)

So, for some of my recent encounters, in brief:

From what I've seen, there really does seem to be deliberate denial for some people because they are too worried or too unknowing to want to know anything about covid or any pandemic. Almost as though they can just wish reality away! And if (when) they then suffer covid: Well, supposedly that's just "unavoidable fate"! No trying to explain to them even in gentle terms that they can at least improve and enhance their chances will open their ears and minds. They deliberately just do not want to know! For those aware of reality, that looks to be crazy indeed. Then also, that is also scary for how we have such people bumbling along hiding from reality.

Conversely, go get jabbed, it's not even painful! And a side effect is that people are then reassured and less stressed. I'd have thought that was the real no-brainer...

And then also walking through my local version of "Cheers!" to pick up a beer, to take it out to the comfort of The Outside to enjoy a good relaxed drink in the mild evening open air, I had the example of one of the old bar-prop regulars calling me a "Patient" for wearing a mask at the bar. (The regulars there are all always maskless.) That was easily shrugged off with a return quip. However, that example does highlight the message from our government for people to "go out to play" (and get the economy moving) and that "masks are not required". There may also be a false sense of 'invulnerability' and supposedly that 'the pandemic is all finished' for those who are double-jabbed fully vaccinated.

Meanwhile, the reality is that our hospitals are paralyzed choked full of covid patients, and the military have been called in to help out running our overstretched ambulances. Other health problems are worsening due to our hospitals and staff continuing to be overworked and abused all dedicated to cleaning up covid patients.

The anti-vaxxers really must be living in a very scary dream!

Stay safe folks!

Really, we now need to play the psychology game to clear the ongoing pandemic?!

Covid: How can missing five million be persuaded to have the jab?

A free hot-dog is very cost effective compared to otherwise risking suffering a ventilator in hospital!

Well as the U.S. has the grand opening of its brand new 700K+ death clubhouse Florida's total death count is starting to jump upwards in leaps and bounds, though the daily figures still don't show it due to some RINO skulduggery going on there to make things seem better than they really are, but last week their numbers jumped from just over 48,000 to just over 50,000 and so far this week 2 updates have taken that number to over 53,000 now. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they pass New York's death number next week on that count.

Meanwhile here down under 1 of them covidiot morons that were tightly gathered in and the around the Shrine of Remembrance on Wednesday down in Melbourne protesting that got arrested and they showed flu like symptoms. They were put in hospital and tests revealed that the person is shedding the virus badly so it looks like a super spreader event may have taken place amongst those extremely stupid people. I guess that if it was going to happen then it couldn't happen to a better selection of Richard Craniums, it's just a shame that they'll it further around their families and friends (I wonder if they'll protest that they got infected). :-(

If you don't want to get the jab for yourself or your family then how about getting it for your animal friends?

I'm Askin':

A Flu shot is Once a Year. Correct? I've never had one

So, I'm Askin': How Many CV Shots a year Would a Person Care to Take to Protect themselves and Others?

Seems a Third Shot in a Year is being Recommended for Over 65.

I'd like to hear Peoples Opinions on haw many they would take.

Please don't say as 'Many as it Will Take, to Protect Me and Others'.

Tell Us a Number.

3; 6 9?

Or One? As in Flu Shot.

What if a Person Had to PAY for a Shot? Would it Change Your Number from More to Less?

Just Askin'

Yep

I asked this same question to a friend who works in one the jab development labs.
Their recommendation is two in the first round, then an annual "booster" at the same time as one's annual flu jab. This makes it three in the first year (2021 for most of us in the UK) then one a year there after.

... That's a lot of jabs ...

There's a LOT of bugs and viruses that have co-evolved with us over the years...

So far, there's only a (comparatively) few that are overly gruesome or devastatingly infectious.

So yep, there's a lot of jabs to give you the freedom of good health!

Without the jabs, ya take ya unhealthy chances... And note that our greatly improved chances from vaccination has helped to above doubled the average expected age since 'olden days'.

Pretty good! And we can do better yet...

Also note that some/most of those jabs will become available to take as a liquid or pill or applied as a small skin patch. No irksome scary needles needed, and far far easier to administer.

Stay healthy folks!

I'm in there immediately as soon as summonsed for the booster!

No brainer really.

I've seen various of my friends and some others succumb to a blast of COVID. Very definitely not pleasant. Various expletives of anguish uttered by some. Along with various other comments of dismay about a lingering loss of taste and smell spoiling all food and beer. Also complaints of lingering headaches and a sense of dreamy (non-fun) drunken fuzziness for a time afterwards. Very definitely not pleasant.

The choice of risking that, or becoming a recluse, or suffering a teeny weeny little jab?

Totally a no brainer. I'm going for the booster jab as soon as called.

Till Age 20, I received more JABs than I can remember da Count. I was a Human JABB Cushion.

I was never Aware of Any Other Outcome. TOLD to Get JABB. Got JABB. They Knew Better and Had da Power. Not dat I had any thoughts of Refusing. The 'ELDERs' said so, I DO SO.

Was Held up at Airport in Some Country - Spain Possibly - until I got some JABB. Was Escorted to some Room and Got It. No Biggee.

As I Aged, and Read Stories of 'Complications' aka DEATH or Being VEGETABLELIZED from JABBs, Well, ODDs of NOT BEING da ONE TO DIE,
or a VEGETABLE, because ODDs are LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG caused me to Question BRAINIACs in POWER.

So My Arm became GOLDEN, ya Know, PRECIOUS to ME.

Entry into MY BLOODSTREAM became VERBOTEN, unless I Said So. Of Course, being UNCONSCIOUS and Near Death, there is NOTHING
I could do. Except Later with a LAWSUIT. If They Saved Me dat is. heee heee heee. Never happened.

Dig It? I Knew da you Could.

With da SHAT a LONG LIFE has So Far Shown Me - Believing in dA EXPERTs has Become a CRAP Shoot. With Many People getting CRAPPED On.

... Entry into MY BLOODSTREAM became VERBOTEN...

Unfortunately, the Coronavirus does not follow any instructions or any user wishes, or any prayers for that matter. The virus will go straight for your bloodstream to widely infect you. All it takes is a few breaths of air from anyone already infected nearby. The virus works furiously quietly until some days later you suddenly notice that you are not healthy...

The vaccines give your immune system a gentle 'test run' without causing the illness and without causing any infection. The covid vaccines are now totally tested, literally hundreds of millions of times over.

The vaccines work, work well, and are working well for hundreds of millions of people, right now.

Compare that to the largest tally of death since World War I...

Instead, taking the vaccine really is a no-brainer good thing to do.
