We're having another taste of winter here today with it kicking off at 6C (felt like 3C), 3hrs later it was 9C (felt like 3C), but the mercury has been stuck there for the last 1.5hrs and now that the clouds have closed in and there is a gale now blowing outside (that must be coming off snow somewhere down south) making it feel more like 1C out there in it. Cheers. |

It seems I've lost some more weight, so much so that it's hard to keep my jeans in place with my tightened belt, I'm down to 476lbs according to my scale. I started at 518lbs, so there is 42lbs missing. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Well the heat is on in my brewroom and I'm about to start playing around in boiling water while sterilising 6 dozen beer bottles. Cheers. |

Wow! Good going!! Now that should nicely reduce your food bill :-) With various supply chain breaks, and failed "Just In Time Deliveries" causing a cascade of distribution interruptions, we've got sections of empty shelves in the supermarkets! (Or, just like hungry locusts, have the returning university students scooped everything up?) Still, noone is going to starve. There's plenty of food, just not a complete selection. So... This is all a good excuse to try alternatives, and even... Go for... Ta da!... Local produce instead!!! (And, without even trying, I've always got my long supply of dried pulses and various pasta that could see me through a 'nuclear winter' :-P ) Eat fresh and healthy!
